2-sec are an integrated cyber security consultancy who provide a range of audit, testing, training and advisory services. Headquartered in London, their team comprises of some of the world’s leading cyber security experts. As they were about to expand, they required a rebrand and the construction of a new website that would better showcase their various products. As they did not have guidance for content, they also required a full customer journey created for this platform.
2-sec provided me with a selection of sites they liked, all of which had two things in common: clarity and style. I came up with the basis for a bold colour scheme and this gave me the platform in which to imagine their updated brand. They supplied me a collection of their material, together with over 70 pages of content from their old site. I worked closely with the head of the company to produce a brand new, clearer sitemap that focused their content and services to just 15 pages. From here I mocked up some lo-fi wireframes to illustrate the new customer journey: Establish the product with a CTA; Explain the product; Extoll the benefits; Echo the CTA.
Once the guideline page layouts were settled upon, I took their existing homepage and applied my ideas for branding to it. I then refined this idea and moved the work into Balsamiq for fast hi-fi wireframes of the interior pages before construction began.
This was then made into a fully responsive website, complete with informative content, engaging visuals, and a clear funnel for their sales platform.
Once complete, I took another look at the logo. Initially, they just wanted their current branding cleaned up, but once I saw the logo in context I felt there was more to be done in terms of developing their brand. I designed a bolder, simpler logo, tied with an easier to read logotype.
This was warmly received and I was requested to fulfill new business cards, stationary, and social media icons.
